Vols capture the top seed in the SEC Tournament after sweeping South Carolina to close the regular season.
The Tennessee Vols, who came into Saturday one game behind the Kentucky Wildcats for the top spot in the SEC standings, were able to turn the tide and end the day with a share of the conference title for the regular season and the top seed in the SEC Tournament.
The Vols ended the season with a bang, stealing a share of the title with a 4-1 victory against South Carolina to complete the regular season series sweep of the Gamecocks and some assistance from Vanderbilt, who upset No. 2 Kentucky.
