In some regions of West and Central Africa, fufu—a dough-like dish made from cooked and crushed plantain or cassava—is a staple diet. Plantain, cassava, or rice are typically boiled before being pounded with a huge wooden mortar and pestle to make “fufu” in Nigeria.
The young woman was seen carrying firewood on her head in a brief Instagram video posted by @yabaleftonline, then she went to the kitchen to prepare the fufu.
The video showed her wrapping it in tiny nylon bags at the conclusion. She is a potential wife.
